Adult Services

Adult programs are specifically designed for adults and are intended for participants 18 years and older. Children are not permitted to attend these classes. Thank you for your understanding. If you are interested in participating in a program with your child, be sure to check out our children's services. We offer many family- friendly opportunities throughout the year.

Booktroverts is a genre-based book club where every month brings a new adventure! One month, you might be solving mysteries in a cozy town, and the next, you’ll be battling dragons in a fantasy realm. We explore everything from thrillers to sci-fi, historical fiction to literary gems, all while having fun and sharing our love for books. No formalities—just lively chats and the joy of getting lost in new worlds together. Ready for the ride? Grab a book and let’s go!

How does it work?

Booktroverts assigns a new genre or theme every month. You choose any book you want within that theme to read. Then, on the last Saturday of the month, everyone gets together to chat about the books they picked, sharing thoughts on the story, characters, and how the book fits the theme. It's a fun way to explore different genres while still having the freedom to pick what you want to read.

Are you interested in Book Club?

Wonderful! We are excited to have you join us. Fill out a quick form and library staff will send you the list of genres/themes for each month, plus a list of book suggestions to get you started.

Family Fitness

The library is continuing its partnership with Meagan Early from Mugwamps Fitness. Ms. Meagan comes to the library after Storytime each week. She facilitates a kid-friendly fitness class that matches the Storytime theme for the week. We encourage grown-ups to participate too. This is a fun way for kiddos to get their wiggles out! Family Fitness is sponsored by grant funding. This makes it free to the public! So come join us! NEW! FamFit will now begin at 10:45AM.

Tot Time

Age 2-3 Years

Tot Time is Storytime for our busy preschool crowd. Ms. Liv will do a read-aloud of at least one engaging children's book. Wiggle exercises, felt stories, rhymes, and puppets are also incorporated. These activities promote early literacy skill building. The goal for this program is to allow plenty of movement activities. This insures the child is able to focus and build attention span.

NEW! A playtime or craft will be offered after Tot Time each week. Check the calendar for the schedule.

Baby Time

Age Birth-2 Years

This event is held on the last Friday each month (confirm with the calendar as holidays may alter this). During Baby Club the focus is on babies and caregivers. We will use finger plays, lap bounces, rhymes, books, songs, and tickles to foster speech development, motor coordination, and self-confidence. Each Baby Club meeting will end with an informal playtime. During this time families are encouraged to socialize and bond with other babies

Sensory Play Program

Children will be able to explore sensory bins and hands-on activities. Children learn through play and interaction with their environment. Sensory play is a wonderful way to encourage this.  Please note: This event is for children 3 years+. For safety reason, we ask you to avoid bringing children who are still placing items in their mouth. Sensory bins will be filled with small items like water beads. 24-25 Dates are TBD.
