IEP Class for Parents (Individualized Education Program Class)
Thursday, Jan. 15th 6pm - 7pm
We are excited to host the Oklahoma Parents Center (OPC), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, from birth through age 26, and their families.
Join us at the library for an informative parent class covering the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the fundamental rights associated with it.
💥 New Storytime Session 💥
Wednesday during the month of January
During the month of January we will be adding a second Storytime on Wednesday at 9:15 AM to give more families an opportunity to attend. This session will follow the same content and structure as our Tuesday Storytime at 10:15 AM. We kindly ask that families NOT sign up for both sessions, so everyone has a chance to attend a session. Please choose one session that works best for your family's schedule.
Drawing Class for Teens
Thursdays, Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29
From 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Learn new skills in this month long drawing course at the Piedmont Public Library! Designed for teens ages 12–18, this class focuses on creating dimension and form by drawing from real life subjects. A foundational skill that will strengthen your artistic abilities in any medium.
All lessons will be taught using graphite and paper, with sketch pads and pencils provided.
This class takes place once a week. There are 4 classes within one month.
When a student signs up they are committing to all 4 classes.
The library now has an Oklahoma Notary.
The notary is available in the afternoons and the evenings. The notary service is free of charge.

Did you know the Piedmont Public Library offers free Wi-Fi and access to public computers? We’re excited to share that our internet connection just got an upgrade!
Thanks to a Category Two E-Rate grant, made possible through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the library has been able to update all of its internet hardware. These improvements mean faster speeds and more reliable connections, making it easier for you to study, work, stream, or simply browse.

Sensory Play and Free Play for Preschoolers
There are many great opportunities for preschool aged children in October.
Fall Sensory Play: Join us for a hands-on sensory play experience designed for young children to explore, create, and discover through touch, movement, and curiosity.
Toddler Free Play: Join us for a relaxed playtime designed for toddlers and their caregivers. We’ll provide a variety of toys and activities that encourage exploration, social interaction, and fun.
